Anti-Human Trafficking Project Coordinator Contract Position
January 3, 2021-March 31, 2022

Legal Assistance of Windsor (LAW) is seeking a Project Coordinator of the Anti-Human Trafficking project. This is a 3-month, full-time contract position. The term of the contract is from January 3, 2021 to March 31, 2022. The Coordinator will provide intake, assessment and counselling, crisis intervention and advocacy on behalf of survivors of human trafficking. Significant public outreach and public education activities are required.


Legal Assistance of Windsor (LAW) is an interdisciplinary clinic combining legal and social work professions to meet the multi-faceted needs of the low-income community in Windsor and Essex County. LAW is a joint service of the Faculty of Law, University of Windsor and Legal Aid Ontario providing law and social work students with challenging learning opportunities. LAW’s Anti-Human Trafficking Program provides survivors of human trafficking and those at risk of human trafficking with support and advocacy.


The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from a recognized University and will have previous experience working with victims of crime and/or newcomers to Canada. Strong administrative, clinical and advocacy skills are essential.


Compensation for the position will be pro-rated according to an annual salary of $67,000, for approximately 35 hours of work weekly.
